You were severely stress-tested as a Constitutional Democracy, and have come through, bruised but as strong as ever.
In 1948 you were pivotal in securing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), that the World signed onto after two World Wars and the Holocaust.
In that moment the World cast aside the culture that "Might is Right", and committed to Human Rights, Equality ... and Joining Hands as One Species with a Common Destiny ... that Covid-19 is confirming so emphatically.
Over the last four years you have been subjected to a vomitus ideology that repudiates the UDHR. This ideology insists on taking the World back to "might is right".
Its bombastic, self-aggrandizing, mean-spirited, bigoted, mendacious leader has bellowed, grunted and snorted a hymn of White Native Nationalism and Dominance ... dominance nationally and internationally.
Germany had Adolf Hitler and Nazism. You were being bullied into a belated twin brother dubbed Trumpism. You saw; sensed and realized the link and rejected Trumpism.
Tragically the great Republican Party* of Abraham Lincoln became incredibly sycophantic, spineless and pliant in support of Donald J Trump, abdicating America's professed values, one of which is quoted in this image.
The likes of Senator Lyndsey Graham and Congressman Jim Jordan growled, barked and yelled the hymn of Trumpism with such vomitus enthusiasm as to make Paul Joseph Goebbels of Nazi Germany look almost amateurish.
Tragically the so-called "Evangelist" sector embraced and supported this vile "pussy grabbing" narcissistic creature who was the very embodiment of all Seven of the Deadly Sins.
But, in the end ... in the end ... in the end ..., you had the Love, Maturity and Good Sense to reject this evil ideology and its leader, despite the fact that it was being so deeply embedded.
I appeal to all Mankind to Salute You ...
PLEASE SALUTE America!!!!
and extend a special Salute to Stacey Abrahams for the pivotal miracle she was so instrumental in pulling off as regards the hitherto blood red State of Georgia.
Dr Martin Luther King, who was inspirational in pointing your great nation onto the path of Universal Love and Brotherhood in his iconic "I Have A Dream" speech, must be smiling in his grave.
You have indeed disavowed "Satan and all his works".
Humanity now rests reassured.
